Our favorite time to go here is in the fall for hay rides, and in the summer for their wonderful ice cream.
Good time for family and friends. Went on a beautiful fall day, couldn't be better. Well maintained and much to do. Parking was easy as well as getting to and from there. Good staff and smiles all around. Definitely recommend this for all.

My 4 year old and I went to McCray's for the first time today . It was a beautiful fall day and the drive there was beautiful. We took a tractor ride($3 per head) to pick pumpkins out in the field. My son picked a pumpkin and the driver priced it($8 for a med-largish pumpkin) and collected credit card payment from a square reader as we got back on the tractor. We fed the animals: goats, a donkey, chickens, peacocks, alpaca or a llama, geese and ducks. Then, we went for ice cream, the shop offered sandwiches and other fare but I was focused on the ice cream. My son ordered a SpongeBob popsicle with gumball eyes like you get from an ice cream truck, I got a scoop of chocolate peanut butter ice cream(they make their own) on a chocolate dipped waffle cone. We had a very pleasant time.
I usually go here with my daughter so she can "feed" the animals and get some ice cream afterwards. Just avoid making eye contact with the Llamas and when interacting with the animals, and try not to go near then unless you have food for them.
